Who it is for

For a family car with two back seat viewers, who want a cheaper twin screen set with HD screens and easy install.

What to check before you buy

• Quality is the major flag here. Some buyers reported discs no longer reading after six to nine months, screens going blue with black stripes, and mounts not holding.
• Customer service gets good reports for quick replacements in several cases, so keep your receipt and contact them early if a unit fails.
• Buyers praised the value, the picture, the portability, and how easy it is to install, so it is a good value pick if you go in knowing the durability risk.
• Check that two 10.5 inch screens fit your headrests, and that the volume controls are separate on each unit, which helps when two kids want different levels.
